To Answer your questions... What is javascript?

To sum it up, Javascript is a programming language developed by Sun Microsystems. Almost every piece of technology on this planet uses java to operate.

    To learn more visit www.java.com

And go to google type in java download, and download it.... you're gonna need to, probably for the rest of your life.

So your saying that as soon as the Windows Startup Logo is finished and it is supposed to proceed to the login screen, instead of showing the login screen, the screen just goes black with a flashing cursor?

If thats the case, chances are there might be a problem with your boot.ini file, and it was somehow to to the no (graphical user interface) login mode.

But before we go into that, restart the computer or power it completely down.

Start it up, and push the F8 key on your keyboard in 1 second intervals..

A black screen with white text should show up, its called the Advanced Startup Options Screen..... on it, scroll down to safe mode
    and click enter

from here just let it load, it will look funky..

Once you come up to the login screen, login, click yes in the box that pops up, let the pc load all the way..

Then run a scandisk... go to my computer, right click on local disk C:\, select properties, on the top of the properties box will be a tab that says tools, click on tools, then select the first scanning option..... a box will popup, select both little box options, and start the scan, and windows notification message will popup just click on, and restart the computer....

I doubt that the problem is serious, make sure your computer is clean of viruses and spyware as well, and delete any files you dont use, and run a disk cleanup.

If nothing works, then we get to proceed to step 2 :)

    Also for future reference.

    Check into these programs..

1.Avast Antivirus (Dump your current program and GET THIS!)
I prefer McAfee, but Avast is free... it will take care of viruses and spyware and all that good stuff.

2.CCleaner(Get This) This tool scans your whole computer for random crap your computer never uses and deletes it.. it is perfectly safe.. i use it everyday. Its previous name was Crap Cleaner and its free.

3.Opera 9(Get it) It is similar to Internet Explorer... it is another secure web browser, it is faster and more secure.

4.Microsoft Automatic Updates(this will make sure you always have java and every other update windows needs.) Go to www.windowsupdate.com and update the crap out of your computer. Updates fix security holes, improve windows operating performance and make your life better. Seriously.

5.Remove any preloaded garbage off your computer life aol internet, or norton programs....

Ill think of some more later
