I cant copy lars and the real girl region one. it's new and I didnt saw any scratch on it. I try using dvd fab platinum and dvd shrink with the sama result. it reads error on bout 50%. I retry it with the same result, so I abort it...I wash it, and clean it with disc restorer gel, but still the same result. anybody know why or has a similiar problem??

Most likely this problem is the DVD itself.... not the movie! You might have a bad press ...... DVDs that are bought are made differently than the ones we buy to burn. Store bought DVDs are PRESSED not burned. Your DVD might have a bad press that stops it from being ripped and copied. If you are getting read errors that persists after cleaning it properly then go back to the store to return and get another copy of it! Then try again.

I'm have the exact same problem... Movie played just fine on the DVD player. Seems like an odd movie to have extra copy protection, I'll try it in my other drive.

Playing is one thing, ripping is another. This movie is not difficult for the right programs. If you can't rip it, exchange for a new copy and try again.
