I am using a Sony DSCP52 digital camera. I can record movie on the camera fine, and see and hear the movie fine. But when I download the MPEG onto the computer, thru the USB connection into my Windows XP, I can only hear the sound, but not see the pictures (movie screen is all black). I've tried a variety of mpeg players and all the same, what could be the problem?!
Hi, what kind of software you running for your camcorder? Pinnacle 8 or vegas are good for you camcorder editing. Do you have a firewire connection for your pc. I would highly recommend you investing in a firewire lead from your camera to pc, the picture quality is much better than usb, look on ebay to buy one much cheaper than jessops. Have a look on your settings of your camcoder software and see if you have selected your camera for the input device.
