When i get to the 4/5 page on TMPGEnc, and reading the afterdawn guide, it says to reduce the size to fit onto a disc to about 96%, but it won't let me go any lower once the average audio bitrate gets to 2000 !!! what do i need to do to make this work ?

    1. WHAT guide?
    2. WHAT format?
    3. Screw the technicalities of the guide, its prolly because your movie is longer than what was ever anticipated by the guide, just set it to automatic and then you can cut it later into two discs. :)

I'm using the divx to dvd guide.

format: NTSC ??? is that what your looking for ?

I would like to fit this movie onto one disc, is there any way possible ???

When you say to set it on automatic, does that mean to follow the steps of the guide and when it says to start, a message pops up saying it won't fit onto one disc, so just hit ok and split later ???

1-you have to calm down. 2-Ok now I'm thinking that the movie is at least 2 hours. My advice is to just encode it as is, because when setting the file size in TMPGEnc it doesn't matter. It should be able to fit on one disc after you encode it. TMPGEnc is probably just overestimating the file size.
