I use Dvd Srink 3.2.It's so great for everything but Disney,Touchtone & Sony Dvd's.it either say's cerndical error (have I spelled it right!) at the beginning of analizing or half way thro' the acuaul ripping prossess.I have tried dvd decryper but that dosn't work with them either.

To do some of today's latest releases you will need either AnyDVD or DVDFab.

^^Exactly.

While Shrink is outdated, it's still useful for it's transcoding properties. But, many new releases have encryptions it can't handle by itself.

The Cyclic Redundancy Error (CRC) is normally associated with one of two problems.
1. Dirty or scratched discs.
2. Encryptions Shrink can't tackle.
