after a while, some of the movies that i encode get this green-block-kinda stuff all over it...

is there any way of clearing that stuff out? because teh file is still of the original size, so i can only assume that the green stuff is something extra that can be gotten rid of.

    cheers

Usually the problem isnt so common if at all, with DivX movies but rather XviD ones. :)

hey,.. I believe you may be having the same problem as I was..... and I was pulling my hair out for a while!

In tmpgenc go to options, environmental settings, vfapi plug in, in there, raise the priority of the directshow multimedia file reader so it's at the top of the list. It seems to have done the trick for me.
