^^ Are those the ones that DON'T code out as CMC Mag? I think it was Saugmon that pointed that out to me.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOB Blanker to blank the undesirables on a DVD > Shrink to compress > Img Burn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Where are those discs made? (MIT, MIS, MIJ etc.)
This may be the week where I try it (I'm low on the DLs and this is fairly cheap).

Ritek media is made in Taiwan. There is no such thing as DVD+R DL media that is made in Japan (Taiyo Yuden makes DVD-R DL media, but only for the Japanese market). Only Verbatim and some Sony DL media is made in Singapore (Verbatim makes some of Sony's DL media).

I was at Best Buy yesterday ( 04-27 ) and they had in clearance the Verbatim Mini DVD-R and DVD-RW for $4.99 I grabbed 5 packs. Here is the packaging
Verbatim DigitalMovie Combo Pack
6 - DVD-R
2 - DVD-RW

Great deal if anyone has a camera that uses them..

Microcenter has Verbs + & - R 25 packs for $7.99 each. Not much of a bargain & they are single layer.

Nope, prices should be at $12 for 50 now. They were around $15 for 50 2 summers ago i remember.

Last summer I remember seeing them at 50 for $16 each in my local Microcenter.
