Hi guys! Well Iam having for two months the same problem wiht steam. When I try to open it, it prompts the updating window. However it always stays at 0%. I have already contacted Steam, but they did not answered a thing!! I have already reinstalled it, even reinstalled windows. Installed SP1. Disable the firewalls. Uninstalled the antivirus. Portforward. And still it keeps freezing. Also another thing I noticed is that at the Steam folder, is mising the Stem.dll, and the uninstalled.exe . Please help me!! I have Intel Core 2 Duo @2.10Ghz, 4Gb of Ram, Nvidia GeForce8600MGT(512MB). Thank You In advance
