VirtualDub Batch Processing

I'm using Virtualdub v1.7.8.
I read somewhere that it can do batch processing, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can anyone help? I tried using VirtualDub Batch Assistant v1.2 but I can't figure it out. Hopefully there is an easier method?

In VirtualDub, load the file, set the filters, etc.
To save the file, click 'File' and check the 'Job control' box.
Repeat for other files.
Start VirtualDub, 'File' 'Job Control' and the Job Control box opens, listing the files to be processed - press 'Start' and the batch will run.
