Need to Edit .TS file and Output Both .TS AND .IDX

Have fta satellite receiver that will pvr programs onto usb stick or drive. Saves .TS and .IDX file for each program. Can edit (cut commercials) with Video Redo and resave as .TS. But when I try to play the edited file it won't play without a .IDX file. Have found that I can use the original .IDX sort of. Information is wrong of course but the file plays.

My problem is that the FF/REW functions don't work. Causes the receiver to lock up. I'm guessing that the receiver uses the .IDX file somehow when FF/REW/etc.

So I am looking for a program (free is best) for my pc that will take a .TS file that I have and output a .IDX file for it.
