ok, so ive just decided to get the orange box, but then i noticed the minimum processor speed was 1.7GHz... and mine is only 1.66GHz... and i was wondering if that meant i couldnt run some or any of the games on it well, im pretty sure the rest of my spec meets the standard... which is this: DirectX* Version: 9.0 Physical Memory: 1014 MB Minimum Graphics Memory: 8 MB Maximum Graphics Memory: 128 MB Graphics Memory in Use: 10 MB Processor: x86 family 6 Model 14 Stepping 8 Processor Speed: 1662 MHZ Just wondering if anyone knows if this would be a big problem, or make buying the game pointless, thx in advance
i'm assuming your using an intergrated grapics card here... which is going to make things rough... the more specs you can get me on the computer the more a MAY be able to help you. as i have played all the games on the orange box on my laptop with intergrated graphics... what type of processor is it? is it dualcore? speed of your ram? your intel chipset? im assuming its intel from the details you gave me... anything and everything you can get me for info will help me to help you... i can promise to get hl2 and hl2:ep1 to play decently, but hl2:ep2, portal, and tf2 may take to work arounds to get somewhat playable...
