How do I create thumbnails for a bunch of videos similar to MPC?

I have about 50 files I need thumbnails of. I want them to look something like the format MPC uses, with multiple frames from the video included in one image file. Everything I've found so far creates separate files for each thumbnail rather than an all-in-one image. This is approximately what I want them to look like:
