Update to WinXP Pro. Is there a way?

    Is it possible to upgrade my Home edition of Windows XP to XP Professional without losing anything or having to back stuff up?

    I have read that it is possible, but when I tried it; it did not work. I finally had to reformat and start over and do a clean install of XP Professional. Good luck!
