I'm trying to ftp to my dbox ive tried all the passwords i can think of my image is blade Username is, root Passwords ive tried so far blade dbox DBOX dbox2 DBOX2 Dbox2 sagem password None of them are working, please suggest something before i pull my hair out!
for a sagem its root and password dbox2. Try using flashxp. Get the ip address of your box and write it down under network from the menu . Make sure your connection properties on you local network are set to half duplex like the box. using flashxp quickconnect enter in your boxes ip address and the user as root and password as dbox2.you should then get a connection .
remember a DBox is unix based so case sensitive is important, ensure the username (root) password (dbox2) is in lowercase I use Blade and thats the password I use what error message do you get when you try to connect using Flash FXP try this use internet explorer open up ftp://root:dbox2@<ip address of your dbox> you should see a directory listing if you are successful
a shot in the dark here each time you should re type and try a new connection.as if you just re type it will try to reconnect using old input.just a thought.
Hi guys i need to ftp to an envision box i have been told its a d-digital system any ideas on the password for it cheers
ok i got it to work it gave me nightmares lol strange as it might be the envision en-500c is listed in loads of forums as a d -digital system but the box i had is realy a clone of some sort of a dreambox 500 i messed about with it found the password was dreambox so i uploaded the dreambox software and its working great only prob i had was trying to reload sevice lists couldnt get them to stick so i had to do a scan and resort faves but thats ok with me long as it works ps i prob dont have this post in the best thread to help others so if some one could move or copy it to the right place wold be great cheers
