Mpeg files using Tmpgenc

i converted an avi file into 4 mpeg files using tmpgenc. I want to combine these files into a single mpeg file, also using tmpgenc merge & cut.

When playing these files separately, there's no problem. But after the merge, at the end of each 4 files in the combination, there is a ticking sound (or somehing like that). How do I get rid of that sound?
