Hi guy's, I'd be very greatful if one of you could tell me how to disable internet access totally on a limited acc.

My sister is getting a new pc tomorrow and will use the Admin acc herself but she is gonna set a limited acc up for her daughter but doesn't want her to access the net as she is quite young.
Surely there has to be certain settings that the internet can be blocked out totally on the limited acc?

    Cheers :)

    1) create a limited account
    2) log in to an account with adminstrative rights (be sure it has a password!)
(you can find out in accounts[control panel])
    3) Start>Control Panel~Switch to "Classic View">Network Connections>Right Click and select Disable with every connection
    4) Log out, Log in to limited account
    5) No internet, and no privileges to change it.

Its free, and no 3rd party program to run.

You should also be able to remove internet explorer (or any other web access program) from the users allowed list.

If the new machine runs vista I wouldn't know, and would advise caution messing with program rights with that flawed system.
