hi all, my ipod wont connect to my laptop. i have tryed deleting and reinstalling itunes, i have tryed restarting my ipod, when its plugged in to the laptop(menu + middle button) also tryed to fix faults on all the apple programs on my laptop. in my computer, it does not show as a storage device and wont find it. i plugged my friends ipod in and it doesnt reconise that ether? is it a pc settings? how do i change it?
You need to have a USB disk support installed on your computer. XP and I assume Vista comes with that ability but you still have to install it. Try plugging it in then restarting your computer. Maybe that will 'wake up' your plug and play.
