i posted a few days ago saying i wasn't having a problem w/ shrink and dvdfab on vista burning w/ nero8. i was wrong guys.

let me start with what im using. i use memorx dvd+r discs and dvdfab HD decrypter to put the movie onto my comp and then i burn w/ shrink. my old comp had no problems w/ this but im having some trouble w/ it now.

when i play my disc, the movie starts towards the end and plays for about 5-10 seconds and then jumps to the movies beginning. then after about 20 minutes my movie jumped into the scene selection page and ran throught the selections very fast and then went to the very beginning of the movie and played a few seconds on repeat until i shut my dvd player off.

what can i do to fix this? i have no idea and now im stumped as to what to do.

First off...this is low quality media. So many playability problems can be solved by using better media. Either get Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim blank media.

Since you're using +R's make sure you booktype to DVD-ROM for better compatability with standalone players.

Try using ImgBurn as opposed to Nero.

Lastly...post a log from your most recent burn with Nero that way we can see everything.

auto burning with nero 8 can cause playback problems too. so either create an ISO file to the HDD then write with nero 8 or use imgburn instead you can autoburn with imgburn you will need to download this

and yes as said use better media like Tayio Yuden or Verbatim burning at 6x to 8x max!
