Is anyone making KVCD's in Linux? Is it possible and if so, wondering what you were using?

    encode2mpeg -o vbr -n p dvd://1 -mpeg1vbr -qmatrix kvcd -wide2std -blank

encode a 16/9 PAL DVD video to a 4/3 PAL VCD with mpeg1 variable bit rate and using kvcd quantization matrices

    http://encode2mpeg.sourceforge.net/html/direct.html

mpeg2enc will do it as well... the switch is -K

Thank you for the info, varnull. I'll give it a try and see how I do.

Please report back.. I'm interested because I haven't done a vcd in nearly 10 years.

    Hi
I don’t have so much idea regarding this subject. Just I suggest you to take steps accordingly.

p.s. i'm a (very stupid) spammer, does it show ?
