ive been reading in various cheat sites that if you use the cell phone cheats for armor/guns n such that u will lose the ability to earn achievements if you save later on. the only problem is that achievements only apply to xbox 360 and since we all own PS3s im trying to find out what drawbacks are there for using the cheats on PS3. Or am I mistaken and there are some achievements to be earned on the PS3 that I dont know about??

AFAIK, if you use cheats you will not be able to achieve 100% completion, you will only be able to get 99.9%

afaik what does that mean???

also if u beat the game with 99% instead of 100% u wont be missing out on much im assuming. i mean what could the last 1% possibly give you that u will need at the end of the game??

You wont be missing out on anything just doing it with cheats means you didn’t finish the game on your own merit that’s what 100% stands for never really understood why people use cheats doing the game on your own merit is surly more rewarding

AFAIK = As far as I know.

as killalot said, you will not miss out on anything, your game save will just say 99.9% instead of 100%. It just shows that you didnt complete the game on your own.

thanks for all ur help fellas and yeah cheating does f*#k up the point of a game but im one of those ppl that have to much going on in his real life to spend 100 plus hrs on a video game because it took me 20 tries to beat a mission or something. i only buy games for the story and fun factor these days. if i can beat a game, miss out on a challenge but get back to my real life faster so be it. I will allways see that as a fair trade :)
