I'm looking for a good, easy-to-use, free program to rip DVD's to my computer. Anyone have any suggestions (links would be nice too)? I googled it and a whole bunch of sites came up and I'm lost on which one to pick. Any recommendations or guidance would be greatly appreciated. smile.gif It may (or may not) help to mention that I want the software to make back-up's for my DVD's and to play around with movie clips in Windows Movie Maker. I noticed some sites mention a decoder or decrypter to download along with the rippper…. Which just adds to my confusion. From what I understand some DVD's (or all?) need to be decoded in order to rip them?

It seems to have an extensive list of DVD Ripper programs.

After being off forum for 2 years, tried to use Ripit4me- what the heck happened in the last 2 years! Is it better to try the new suggestions given in forum or try to resurect to last version of Rip- so far either I forgot the process or it just won't work. It will though go throug DVD decriptor but then can't get it to burn!!!!
