use handbrake for both mac and windows http://handbrake.fr/ ripp the dvd's then convert the divx files to ipod ready format http://www.download.com/Free-iPod-V...194_4-10498770.html?tag=lst-3&cdlPid=10498771 then drag and drop the MP4 files into itunes sync and your done their is some software that will move dvd to ipod directly but its going to give you bad quality and might botch up your ipod plus this way is quick and easy! any questions ask! -tripplite
