So I just bought SMT: Nocturne at Play Asia and I popped it in my PS3 and it wont even load most of the time sometimes it does load and I play up until where you put your name in the game and then it just freezes on me. I even got a disc error 80028F17. The game was sealed when I recieved it but the weird thing is it had fingerprints where the lens reads the disc......any help for me with trying to get this game to work would be very much appreciated....Thanks all

Well most game distributors have game case sealers in-house, in fact you can usually see them behind the counter at any EB games store so it wouldnt be a surprise if you were sold a refurbished game. I'd say send it back to Play Asia and tell them its defective, and if you haven't wiped the fingerprints off yet take a picture of it as well and include it in your request.

Thanks for the reply, I just hope they still have the game in stock cause I know its kind of a rare title....and I already wiped the fingerprints off which I shouldnt have done. I did check the error code and it says something like Im trying to swap the disc or play a backed up copy which isnt cool...It was sealed when I got it tho....back it goes

You could try running it through a disk cleaner. I know GAME stores in the UK do this for about £3. If it works it would save you the hassle of sending it back, and if not you haven't really lost much.
