dvdCopyPro generates bad sectors with dvd43

when trying to backup the 'The Golden Compass' dvd using dvdCopyPro with DVD43, I get multiple 'bad sectors' reported until the copy application quits out. Does anyone know why this occurs? Or how to get around this problem?

Dvd43 is bad with just abut all programs.Please do an agressive uninstall.Also look here for help
