I am new at converting ripped DVDs to CDs. My proble is the size of the file after I encode it to avi/divx. A movie of normal length takes more the one 80min CD. The ones I download off the internet (newsgroups and Kazaa) are someone confined to one CD and the quality is fine.

Any tips?
