1.)Is it legal software to purchase (own) in the U.S?
2.)Where can I buy the software?

Absolutely Legal to own. Using it is another matter (if no one tells, what's the worry ?)

Hopefully you've made your purchase as the price goes up today.

Dvdfab price went up. Now no more free updates forever.

After May 8, 2008, Fengtao Software Inc. has changed the license policy. There isn't FREE lifetime software upgrades and technical support anymore, but all existing customers who buy before May 8, 2008 will still get it.


Only people who buy after may will have to renew their license is the way i read it so i'm safe :p ,then again i don't see an issue with paying a little bit to get an upgrade to the next version but not for updates,in other words going from v1.0 to v2.0 would be ok to pay a small fee but not between v1.0 -v 1.9
