This is a guide to playing games (either ISO or UMD) on your PC monitor. So you can have a bigger screen.

Requirements:

1. A Windows (Works with Vista)
2. Remotejoy Mirror (Sendspace)
3. A Custom Firmware PSP ( Know its works for 3.40 OE to 3.90 M33 firmwares)

Steps:

1. Extract the "Remotejoy" archieve.
2. Go to the folder " For your PSP". Copy the GAME and seplugins folder into your root of ur psp. ( If it asks if you want to replace anything or if u want install more plugins, go to the FAQ)
3. Turn off your PSP. Turn it on again while holding R. This should bring you to the recovery mode. ( Do not enable the plugins) Go to Config and change the Game kernal to 3.XX. Then exit the recovery.
4. Go the GAME menu, and start PSPLINK. It should give you a line. Plug in your USB. Windows should show that they found a new hardware.
5. Click Manual Install. Browse " Remotejoy/For your PC/LibUSB". Now if you have a 32 bit PC then chose the driver folder. If you have a 64 bite, select the driver_x64. Install the driver.
6. Turn off your PSP. Turn it on again while holding R. Again, in recovery mode click plugins. Enable usbhostfs, remotejoy, and psplink plugins. Then exit the recovery.
7. Start a game,then go back to the For your PC folder and run "Click Me First.bat".After run one of the following:

Full Screen.bat
Full Screen with FPS.bat
Small Screen.bat
Small Screen with FPS.bat

After insert your USB and you should see your game. :)

IF This not works, then...

1. Try clicking F4 or change the resolution of ur monitor. ( From cb0635)

2. Check if it is auto load. If it is, let it load ur game save first. After loading plug in the USB. Same as saving, when saving disconnect until its done.

To Play online ...

- This can play online. Start the game ( don't connect the cable). Go online into your game lobby. Now you connect the cable.

Slow Gameplaying ?

The main reason is that your PC is too slow or your video card is bad. Or if u have a USB cable that also power your PSP. It could decrease the FPS of your game (thx to nettiger)

Keyboard Controls

U can play with your keyboard. Here are the controls.
UP Arrow = D-Pad Up
DOWN Arrow = D-Pad Down
LEFT Arrow = D-Pad Left
RIGHT Arrow = D-Pad Right

a = SQUARE
s = TRIANGLE
z = CROSS
x = CIRCLE
q = LTRIGGER
w = RTRIGGER

Return = START
Space = SELECT
y = HOME
u = VOLDOWN
i = VOLUP
o = SCREEN
p = NOTE

I`m not sure about analog though

FAQ:

Q: Does this works for slim ?
A: Yes

Q: On Step 6, I can't find a manul button.
A: If you can't then click "Skip" button. Go to your Control Panal, click Device Manager. You will see a icon with a "!" mark. Right Click the icon and click properties. Go to Reinstall Driver, there should be a manual now.

Q: What is Custom Firmware? How do I get custom firmware?
A: Google

Q: I have an older firmware how can I upgrade?
A : Follow this guide by larryjie
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/616311

Q: How Do I Get to Recovery Mode?
A: You mst have a Custom Firmware psp first. Turn off your psp (Hold the power button). Hold the R button then turn it on. Go to plugins and enable the plugin. To change kernal go to Config, then to GAME kernal.

Q: Does this works for PSX games ?
A: No, this does not works for PSX. However, you can use IRSHELL.

Q: How can I add more plugins?
A: If you already have another plugin in your GAME.txt then copy these and put it on the GAME.txt
ms0:/seplugins/psplink.prx
ms0:/seplugins/remotejoy.prx
ms0:/seplugins/usnhostfs.prx
Remember to Save the text file

Q: How do I uninstall/delete this?
A: Delete the 3 plugins. Also, delete it from the game.txt file

I can't find anything like "nethostfs"?

Edit: not in the archives in those links anyway. Very interested though!

Edit edit: Holy crap, got it working. Amazing, top stuff. Copied usbhostfs across instead? Not working with PSX emulation so far though. Going to try some more games, getting some freezing though.

Running 3.90 m33-3.

ooops ... typo. Meant usbhostfs. Most games work, so it shouldnt freeze much. Did u do this

"- When you try to save or load, it could freeze. If your game auto loads, disconnect your USB until its done"

thx for ur feedbacks :)

Yep, that has solved the problem with freezing. e.g. Tried GoW, let it load into the game then plugged in - all good.

Problem is I'm replaying ff7 on POPS... can't seem to get this working with PSX emulation unfortunately.

I'm impressed though - I'd heard of something similar to this, but never seen it proven. If it was integrated into a CFW at some stage, you could probably get better stability and performance too.

AWESOME guide mrgooey :)

Well, but I've done everything but then when my PSP gets connected to the PC I can control my PSP with my "PC Keyboard" but well, I get a black screen on my PC >_>
I mean my PC doesn't show my PSP screen >_<
I've tried this with "Naruto" and "Tony Hawk project 8" but well they can be controlled by the PC Keyboard but they don't come on the PC screen o_O
I mean the window in which the PSP screen should come is juz black :(
Is it because I have a low-end gfx card ?? o_O [GeForce 4 mx 440] [No pixel-shader :(]

Holy crap...I just found out about this right now...and I almost crapped my pants. Never knew it was possible.
Can I use the PSP as a controller, or do I have to use the keyboard?

I'm confused on where to put usbhostfs, do I put it in the seplugin folder or in the root?
Also what do you mean by change the game kernal to 3.XX
Last question when I go enable plugins I only see two is this normal?
