hi, ok this is actually for my friends computer, and if we dont fix it, we'll have to reinstall XP :O, not good at all!! we have no idea how, but its kinda like the comuter changed the Admins apssword itself, no one was using it at all, next morning, couldnt login, the username that was being used before it stuffed up was usr: Administrator. and there was no password, it just doesnt make sense, it changed it itself!!!!! i cant take the HDD out of it and weve tried many programs to find it out and they dont work, and their pretty confusing, im 14. Is there any bootable apps that can just change it to something like 1234 or remove the password completly? and a program thats really simple. we got a floppy drive and a DVD burner access so anything that can be booted and fix it would be great!!! please, we cant loose these files!! btw, we do have access to the Guest accound but everything is Denied, including CMD and Registry edit and about everything else. Plus to make matters worse, the computer that it stuffed cant use the internet cuz it needs NETGEAR program to run, but acces is denied!!!! so we have to have something that is bootable and offline. the computer is XP MCE 2005 thanks in advance for any help!!
