After posting a reply to a thread with lots of posts,it would be nice to have a button on the bottom of the last message that says "to the top of the page". just so as we can return to the same forum and not have to hit the forum tab and the find the same family of threads we were in prior to posting. Just a thought.

Or me.. while we are at it.. apart from the "top" link how about first and last from the main menu listing as well.. instead of having to always find the end of the thread.

Maybe that's getting too much like phpBB and smf tho.. I like the differences.

Ok, the "to the top" link at the bottom of the page which would just take you to the top of the page is easy enough to implement, might do it even today.

This should be a nice feature...to the top that is. I can't speak for varnull, but I think the "jump to first unread message" would be accessed from the subforum page and not the forum index.

That's what I was trying to say... words failed. It's morning now and I haven't been out with the sun blazing down on my poor old brainbox...

For instance.. When a topic is updated it comes to the top of the submenu and displays on the main listing as last updated. Clicking on that always takes you to the first post, regardless of there being possibly 50 pages following that you may have already read. It would be useful to have a link to the most recent post there, as well as the link to the first post.
