Hello, I have a 3.5 SATA Drive I wish to power up externally via AC (110v).

I want to convert the SATA to a Molex (4pin), and then get a molex to ac cable convert so I can power it, sort of like this:

Does anyone know where I can buy a molex to AC cable for a good and affordable price?

Thanks

i'm thinking of the power cable for sata drive that comes with new motherboards. 1 end plugs into the drive & the other into that power adapter.

If you want to do this for free you could nick an old PSU someone's not using any more, and pinshort it so it powers on when you flick the switch at the back - then simply use that...
