How do I know if a dvd is encrypted?

    How do I find out if a dvd is encrypted? Or should I just run Decrypter or whatever anyway?

    It's prudent to assume that any commercial DVD is encrypted.
    Ripping with 'DVD Fab HD Decrypter' removes doubt.

    only movie i ever backed up that was NOT encrypted was Sling Blade lol

    Using DVD decrypter, before starting the decrypting process you should be able to see if the dvd is encrypted or not. usually it says "none" if there is no encryption.
