I would like to play an European game (PAL) on a US PSP.
Is it possible to do it with no risk

If you have a custom firmware installed then you can play it by faking the region. Last time I checked, Sony hadn't enabled PSPs to be region-free.

If you do have a custom firmware then go to recovery > advanced options > fake region (and choose wherever the UMD is from).
