hi to all,
Please help, as any newbie is i worried i'm asking the obvious.

i have a psp with no mods as yet running on 3.52 firmware.

i have read the guide, dowloaded all the software stated and tried to install as descreibed. as far as i am aware, i first need to install the m33 mod, which i have tried, i have filed this with the 150.pbp and the 3.52.pbp in psp/game i have also tried in all other folders such as psp/game150 & game 3.52.
i then return the the psp and attemp to run the programs, everytime i get the same old " can not run this game " message followed by a code.

i tried everything i can think of in all combinations but to no avail.

i am normally pretty good with these things but need help with this please guys.

its probably something simple but its got me stumped.

whislt i'm here am i right in thinking i need to intall this mod to then upgrade to 3.90m33-3 this is my aim if any one can guide me?

right you need pandoras and a magic memory stick. i cant real be boverd to explain why you need it if you going to ask that but you do its the only thing that will get you to 3.90m33

use this guide to make the mms - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313

and then you can hard mod or buy a datel tool battery

thanks for that, downloading software now, and will follow the guide.

quick question, the guide refers to the need for modding the battery.
is this information up to date? i think ive read something about being able to do this with software now?

what guide have u read?
From what i read... you are trying to install m33. To do that u need to downgrade to 1.50 first. That means u need the pandora's battery.

Use the guide that Dr1ver has to make a pandora.

Now there is three ways of getting pandora's battery

1. Find a friend who has custom firmware that can soft mod ur battery (the one with the software)
2. Buy the DATEL tool battery
3. Hardmod your battery (opening ur battery up)

for 1, to run the software, u need a custom firmware psp
the guide dr1ver gave u is a guide for number 2 and 3 together.
