i have upgrade a fat psp back then usin the UPMS thing n now i have a silver Slim PSP that have on firmware 3.95 that some1 update it to...i follow the steps in the UPMS guide n put the UPMS thing on the card {which i format} n the update i wanted in it... but on realisation i put a 3.8m33-3 update so now when i put my pandora battery in which i made n the instruction says hold on L n place battery in[pandora] n release when Light flash... nothing happened... no screen boot up nothing... jus power light on, n psp cant turn on... when i look in the slim psp that i tryin to get to put games on which is it am talkin about b4, i saw that the firmware was 3.95.. how can i carry out the task of letting this PSP play download games? PLEASE n THANKS >>>

use ur custom firmware psp to make the magic ms and the pandora battery. Use this guide

you're exactly doing the right thing, before you put the pandora's battery, slide the switch of your psp to "hold" then hold the "L" button . place the Pandora's Battery to your slim psp.after the orange light flashes, release the "L" button then carefully slide the power switch from hold position to normal, avoiding to turn off you psp. Its VERY normal to see a blank screen because slim psp's dont support the title screen if it's on Official Firmware. Moving on, when you see a blank screen, just press "X" repeatedly until a writing pops up. Follw the instructions given to downgrade you psp slim

BTW i also have a psp slim, part of a Daxter set with official firmware of 3.80. I successfully downgraded it to 3.80m55-4 and then upgraded to 3.90m33-3 ^_^
