    can anybody tell me how to compress a file into iso using winrar?.....

    When you installed Winrar you probably did not uncheck the option to associate it with ISO files. I see from forums that many people are confused because of this. WinRAR cannot make ISO disk image files, it can only extract from them. To make an ISO you need an ISO creation program. There are plenty to choose from. Type "create ISO" into Google to see a list.
