OK so I have a 500 GB USB External HDD. I formated with HFS+ and ut worked perfectly with the 360 for about a month now. I decided to reformat the HDD to NTFS and now when I plug it into the 360 nothing happens. The Portable Device (USB)source is greyed out. Does the 360 not read NTFS External drives? Do I need to reformat it back to HFS+ or am I overlooking something. Any suggestions?

Since no one knows, I decided to post my findings. The 360 doesn't read a USB External HDD formatted in NTFS. It must either be formatted in fat32 or HFS+ for the hdd to be recognized by the 360. So I ended up reformatting both externals back to the HFS+ format and now its business as usual. I hope this information helps anyone who was wondering about this.
