Tversity problem

Ok forgive me if this is in the wrong section for this , but i am having a problem with streaming my Video files to my xbox 360 using tversity media server,
heres the problem every time i either try to start sharing , add folders to share, or view the folders i am sharing it tells me that it is "unable to connect to server, please maker sure it is running"
i have gone threw multiple resets and uninstalls ive even manually put the ip add. in for the xbox ,
any help on this problem would be great ,,thanks
