Is it possible to skip the fmv's on psx eboots?

Guys...i want to skip the fmv's of final fantasy ix, but it seems imposssible since i'm using psp...on ps1 console i will just open and close the lid to skip fmv scenes...is it possible to skip it using psp?

I don't think so, if pressing X or Start doesn't work.

actually i'm trying the perfect save challange foung on gamefaqs..hehehe...

well i've tried changing memory sticks it doesn't ork also.
