I got my friends PSP and went to downgrade and install CFW with the universal unbricker BUT when I put the Battery and mem stick in all the lights turn on stay like that for like 10 secs and turn back off but I've downgraded 5 other PSP's with it and then I went and tried to see if it worked on mine and it did but on this PSP it won't, Why ?

Phat, and I've done it 5 times before and I've check if the battery or somethign is screwed but they are fine, the PSP itself just won't turn on no matter what and it hasn't been hacked or anything before.

when you say the psp won't turn on is that with a normal battery too?

ok sound's like an internal problem the psp might have to be sent back to sony
The first time it got sent in, was becuase the screen was cracked and then after he got it back it worked and then he didn't touch it for 5 months and now it won't turn on. What kind of internal problem could it be ?
try leaving the battery out for a day or two.
make sure the connections for the battery to the psp are not dirty. if they are, clean them up!
if it comes worse to worse, you might need an expert to open it up, there might be a connection fault there
