Hi, i just bought xbox 360 elite, i have a wireless dlink router which i use to connect 3 other laptops to, how do i connect to xbox live through this wireless router? i dont a have long enough wire to directly connect because my modem is upstairs and tv downstairs. Thank you.

oh, do i need a wireless network adapter for 360 elite? i thought elite came with that? are there any other alternatives, cause i just checked price for wireless network adapter and its 100$!

Yes you need a wirless network adapter try kijiji it has a video gamesection it is like an ebay for your own town. You can usually find them on there for around 30$

yea its expensive. Some companies make access points that work well with 360s to connect to wifi.

slimdawg could you go more in detail on this? i am not too sure what you mean. what kind of adapter would you use to grab a wifi connection besides the standard wireless network adapter?
