What's with the caps homie?

How are you going to test to see if the tray ejects or that it loads the game? I would officially say no, you can't test to see if a ps2 is working without a reset/eject cable.

Theoretically, in the world of electrical and all, Yes. BUT, you will need to find and bypass the pins of the ribbon cable on the motherboard that tell the PS2 to turn on.
