Help is it true sky channels for free with out any subscribtion

i was told that if i buy a sky box and card i can get such channels as uk tv history and sky 3 all the sky channels except the sports,movie channels.Does any one no if this is true and i dont have to pay to join sky just get the sky box and card connect it to my free view sat and i get the sky channels dont want to waste my money if this not true..

 

where do you live if you live in ireland i can give you some advice dont forget you will need a sat dish to start with

 

Yes i live in ireland Dublin,i have a sat up about 4 months just too get the free view channels,but am i able to get a sky box and card with out subscribtion to get the sky chans like uktv history sky 3 but dont want the film and sports stuff be gla of any help from you

 

if you go to buyandsell.ie go to the tv section there loads of guys selling boxes +cards you get bbc 1 2 3 4 , itv 1 2 3 4 sky 3 a few film channels but not sky movies you get sky news , cnn ,euronews, bbc 24hr news , all the selling channels and lots more , im not sure about uktv but you dont get sky1 or history channels there are a few childrens channels ,all the radio stations are there bbc1 2 3 4 5 6 7 + world service rte 1, 2, radio na gaelge ,lyric, +newstalk ithink there about 120 radio stations. the website digitalspy has a very informative satellite section best of luck let me know how you get on with the above. i have 2 of them feeding from 1 dish with a double lnb , if there any thing you dont understand get back to me.

 

i already have itv1 2 3 4 bbc 1234 its the discovery channels and all them type im looking for i have them on my ntl but theres a good few decant channels sky have my free view box gives me movies 4 men true movies etc,But was hopeing i could get uktv history sky3 and a few other chans for free.what is double inb

 

You can get this channels with a UK FTV card for 20 english pound:

Sky Three

But that is it.

 

an lnb is the round piece at the end of the arm on a sat dish,they can have 2 or 4 right up to 16 connections ,if you had a double lnb you could have 2 independent digiboxes running at the same time provided you have 2 cards, we have it here 1 with sky sub and 1 with fta.when sky install sky+ they put on a quad 1 feed to the hard disc and 1 to the tuner, that leaves 2 spare in case another subscription is required in that house, they allow 2 subs per house.a quad sells for about 30 euro in buy and sell , they have a website, our dish is on my garage roof so i changed it my self but if its on the roof its a different matter
