So I don't know if this is true or anything but if it is then cool.
I was wondering if anyone heard that you can Flash an Xbox360s DVD drive without having to physically remove the drive from the 360.
My friend was saying his uncle done it with his by downloading some software and burning it to a DVD.
I was wondering if anyone knows if this is true? Or if it is possible? My 360 is only a couple months old I don't want to void the warranty by opening up the system.

By the way I have a Hitachi-LG drive. I don't know if that will help.
Also I don't have direct access to a motherboard with any SATA ports.

the only way you can flash without opening the drive is with a blaster mod chip and even then i believe you still have to open the case to install the modchip. which is why mod chips are a waste of money for this console.
