Hey guys I have a scuzzy. I'm trying to get some family movies off the HD, the computer doesnt work, I've taken the HD out. I was wondering if anyone knew if enclosures are made for scuzzys so then I could just do that and USB it to my new comp. I was also thinking about finding an old scuzzy controller card to read it. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I don't know of anything cheap for this purpose, your best bet is to try and get a PCI SCSI controller card. They shouldn't be too expensive.

Well, If they make enclosures for Scuzzys then that would be easiest and cheapest. If not I dunno the only other optoin I know of is to find a scuzzy controller card but I'm not sure where to find one and not sure exactly how I'd go about that process. Will my files from my old HD open in a new window and what will I see like C drive or a list of folders etc... or what.

A SCSI drive should be detected the same way as any other I'd think, and the drive would be an extra drive letter in windows.

what type of scsi is it as in scsi-1, -2 or -3 as they use different pin count cables as in 50 pin wide or 68 pin narrow?

Here is a link for pictures of the different interfaces of SCSI:

And like sammorris said, it would be alot cheaper to get an internal pci to scsi adaptor.

    Good Luck!

edit: Also it might be best to post the make and model of the drive (it should be on a sticker on the drive).
