So when do you guys think the ps3 will drop in price, and how much for what model.
this is what i think:
by X-mas 2008
40Gb model: $350-$375 -> Price as of now $399
80Gb model: $450-$475 -> Price as of now $499

That is a lot when sony is selling many many systems. I would be happier with $50 off, but $25 aint bad either for somone that is on the edge.

I might buy another ps3, so that when/if, it gets hacked i can still use one for online.
But ill only get it when there is a big enough price drop for the 40gb, which i hope will be soon.

Yeah that will help if guys want to get a second console. I either want to get another 60 or 80g just for backwards compatabilty. Had to give up my first 60g for a 40g due to blueray lense failure.......Yeah the risk of bricking a cheaper console isnt that bad compared to the origional $499 and $599 price makes me want to pimp my PS3 even more.May just get a refurbished one to go even cheaper

As long as they keep winning at home, they won the championship. seems like it may be Celtics-Lakers in the Finals, but thats if the Hornets and Pistons dont start winning on the road. Im tired of seeing The Spurs in the finals and just period overall. They are a good team but boring as hell to watch play

I don't mind if the spurs take it. They're not like the typical teams that I seem to hate for winning, they have good character. I hope the Celtics take it though because they're overdue and Kobe whines too much.
