Hi

My dvd drive copies dvds fine but won't play the disks it copies, it neither recognises nor plays the disks, but the disks will play on all my dvd players and are recognised by all the computers i have tried them on. Any ideas as to why this is happening and if i can do anything about it.

Try giving the lens a good cleaning with a cleaning disc sold in every electronics store.
It could also be that the reading lens is bad but try cleaning it first. A can of compressed air could help also.

Thanks, i'll give it a try, but it recognises everyone elses disks except its own so i dodn't know if it will work but i'll give it a go

try a better brand of blank DVDs like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim

what brand are you using?

thas most likely you're problem

also make sure you have to most up to date firmware for your drive burner,
