incorporating 5.1 dolby

    Hi, as far as i know, when converting a video file, it only converts to dvd ac3 2 channel. Is there a way incorporate 5.1 dolby?

    Load a DVD into VirtualDub.
    Copy the 'MPEG2 Plugin' to the 'Plugins' folder in VirtualDub.
    Install the AC3-ACM codec.
    Open the DVD folder ('File' > 'Open Video File') and select the first VOB of the main title - the rest will load automatically.
    After it loads you will be offered a choice of audio streams, select the first.
    If you have previously installed a video codec (I used DivX), click 'Video' > 'Full processing Mode' > 'Compression' - select the codec.
    Click 'File' > 'Save as AVI'.
