Hi all,

Been using my PS2 with the DMS4 lite chip in for a couple of years all fine. Recently it's been difficult to boot up, just a blank screen. This week it wouldn't boot up at all so I removed the chip, still not booting!! Any suggestions?? I've had it all apart, mobo out, blew off the dust etc.

Got a new mobo today, ideal I thought, she's booting. Now my laser seems to have died...... fun!

This PS2 could be soon going out the window! Put new motherboard in, Laser was clicking excessively and not loading any discs. I thought I may have damaged the laser as I've given my PS2 some rough treatment recently trying to get it booting. Bought a new KHS-400C laser and fitted it tonight, still the same gay noise and disks not loading. Tried a new laser arm too as I had one here. Any other suggestions???
