this is a guide i gave to someone ages ago i think it works

you can download irshell and patch here [ link]
now there are some problems with irshell for 3.90m33 there is a way of doing it though but some stuff might not work
you can get irshell3.9 and the #2 patch that makes it work for 3.90m33
to install it
follow this
1) delete any irshell stuff you have on there already thats everything that runs with irshell
2) copy IRSHELL folder to the root of the memory stick
e.g x:\IRSHELL (where x is the psp drive)
3) copy seplugins to the root as well
4) copy the folders from game150 to the game150 folder on your mem
stick
5) then once finished that download the Unsupported Patch #2 for irshell
3.90m33
6) copy the files out of bin and put them in the bin folder on your mem
stick
7) copy the folder 3.90 in patch and paste it into the patch folder on
your mem stick
8) now hard reset your psp (hold the power button up untill it flashes
and then hold the r button while turning it on) and get to the recovery
menu
9) now go to plugins and enable the IRSHELL and then exit recovery
mode and it should boot the IRSHELL
if that does all not work then make sure you have everything in the right place. apart from that im cant really be of much help i never used IRshell before 0_<
