Ok i bought my ps3 about a year ago maybe. and it hasn't worked for about 7 months. i lost the warranty to the dang thing so i cant take it back, but i was hoping someone in here might know the problem. ok when i turn it on it beeps 3 times and then shuts off i used to hear the fan spin but it doesn't even spin anymore i don't know what that is supposed to mean but I've looked it up. know one knows whats wrong with it so if someone can tell me if i need to buy a new part or a new ps3 please tell me. THANKS!

If you turn the ps3 on and watch the power light. Does it flash yellow at all?
